Meanwhile, Erie came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Mustangs on the road to the tune of 48-13. Considering the Tigers have won five matches by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Erie, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
