Baseball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

Archie Williams had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 12-11 to make it four. They fell 9-4 to the Marin Catholic Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Tuesday.

Archie Williams saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was August Block, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Henry Hanavan was another, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

As for Marin Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11. Nine seems to be a good number for they as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

On Marin Catholic's side, Wade Untermann was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Untermann a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Johnny Greco, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

As of now, neither Archie Williams nor Marin Catholic have any future games scheduled.
