Westville had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 14-5 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Wheeler Bearcats. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kierstin Vargas made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
