Basketball Recap: Kaycee Takes a Loss

Kaycee lost against Upton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kaycee Buckaroos took a blow against the Upton Bobcats, falling 70-24.

Kaycee's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-10. As for Upton, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kaycee and Upton's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Kaycee and Arvada-Clearmont (who has only given up 29.17 points per game) will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Upton will face off against Niobrara County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, a squad that's only allowed 28.43 points per game.
