Soccer Recap: Sauk Prairie Starts off Right with Win over Wisconsin Dells

Sauk Prairie had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. This was payback for Sauk Prairie, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Their offense was hitting Wisconsin Dells from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Angel Ibarra led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Wisconsin Dells now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Sauk Prairie has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Stoughton on the 2nd. As for Wisconsin Dells, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against West Salem on the 30th.
