Basketball Recap: Hallsville Comes Up Short

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 47-37 to the Texas Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-40 back in November of 2024.

Hallsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Texas, their record now sits at 6-8.

Hallsville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mt. Pleasant at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallsville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Texas, they will challenge Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
