Game recap: Ware County High School Football Team wins against Bradwell Institute

WAYCROSS, Ga. - the Gators had a big 27-point second quarter on Saturday, sealing a 48-0 victory over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, Ga.).

Ware County rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including two by Ryder Rouse.

After taking the lead on a Jammar Johnson touchdown run in the first quarter, WC was up 34-0 at the half.

The Waycross school expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. The Gators' lone score in the quarter came on a Dedrick Mills touchdown run.

With the win Ware County extended its winning streak to eight games. Ware County defeated Groves 62-6 last week.

WC came into the game allowing 14.0 points per game. The zero points that the Tigers ended with were well below their average of 25.3 coming into the game.



The Waycross school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 39-6.

The loss was the third in a row for Bradwell Institute.

Ware County (8-1) will play a AAAAA Region 3 game against Effingham County next week, while Bradwell Institute (3-6) will take on Groves also in a AAAAA Region 3 game.
