Baseball Recap: Westside Rams vs. Greenwood Eagles        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Pickens  last Tuesday, Westside came back down to earth. The Westside Rams wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 16-6 walloping at the hands of the Greenwood Eagles on Thursday. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for four  runs.
  Will Thomas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Tyler Scott was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Westside has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season. As for Greenwood, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
 While Westside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
