Basketball Recap: Steel Valley Comes Up Short

Steel Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs on the road by a 56-42 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-39 back in January.

Steel Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Shady Side Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-12.

Steel Valley will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Allegheny at 7:00 p.m. As for Shady Side Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Seton LaSalle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
