Basketball Game Preview: Broken Bow Savages vs. Hugo Buffaloes

Broken Bow and Hugo are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Broken Bow Savages will head out to challenge the Hugo Buffaloes at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Hugo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Broken Bow, who comes in off a win.

Hugo will be up against a hot Broken Bow team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Broken Bow came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-38 W against Valliant.

Meanwhile, Hugo came up short against Kingston on Saturday and fell 52-45.

Hugo's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Broken Bow, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Everything went Broken Bow's way against Hugo in their previous matchup back in January, as Broken Bow made off with a 52-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Broken Bow since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
