Softball Recap: Chaparral Wolverines vs. Ralston Valley Mustangs
Chaparral lost to Ralston Valley back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Chaparral Wolverines narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ralston Valley Mustangs 8-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Emma Graham looked comfortable as she tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ashlyn Burgess, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Weber, who went 2-for-2 with two RBI.
