Basketball Recap: Fulton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Fulton came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stark County Rebels on Monday, sneaking past 49-47. This was payback for the Steamers, who suffered a 55-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Stark County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will challenge Lena-Winslow at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lena-Winslow's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Stark County, they will square off against Bureau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
