It was a good run, but George Jenkins unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Winter Haven Blue Devils and fell 73-33. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-18.

George Jenkins' loss came despite strong showings from Taleah Turner and Anessa Maefield. Turner posted eight points, while Maefield earned two points.

Winter Haven was led to victory by Serenity Hardy and Quin?Nya Gray De Sanders. Hardy went 6 for 13 on her way to 17 points and four steals, while Gray De Sanders almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals. Gray De Sanders is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyse Mercredi, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 10 points.

George Jenkins' loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. As for Winter Haven, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

When George Jenkins and Winter Haven next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. George Jenkins will try to stop Haines City's five-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. George Jenkins is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season. Similarly, Winter Haven will try to stop Miami Country Day's four-game winning streak when the meet at 8:40 p.m. on Friday.
