Basketball Recap: Thornton Takes a Loss

Thornton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 54-32 to the Kankakee Kays. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-30 back in December of 2024.

Thornton's record is now 6-11. As for Kankakee, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thornton will challenge Thornridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kankakee, they will square off against Bloom at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
