Softball Recap: Shadyside Tigers vs. Bridgeport Bulldogs
Shadyside lost against Bridgeport last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ariana Saxton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
