Basketball Recap: Ascend Leadership Comes Up Short

Ascend Leadership lost against Chatham Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ascend Leadership Aviators were dealt a 74-31 defeat at the hands of the Chatham Charter Knights. The Aviators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skylar Lynn went supernova for Chatham Charter, as she made all 7 shots she took to post 18 points. That's the most points Lynn has posted since back in December of 2024. Camille Alston was another key player, as she made all 5 shots she took for 11 points.

Ascend Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Chatham Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-14.

As of now, neither Ascend Leadership nor Chatham Charter have any future games scheduled.
