If James Monroe beats Skyline with 78 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. James Monroe claimed a resounding 78-35 victory over Spotsylvania. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Skyline entered their contest against Meridian on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Skyline fell 90-81 to Meridian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

James Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.
