Basketball Game Preview: Vail Mountain Gore Rangers vs. North Park Wildcats

The Vail Mountain Gore Rangers will venture away from home to take on the North Park Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Park took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Vail Mountain, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Vail Mountain turned things around against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over Varsity Opponent.

Meanwhile, North Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 72-22 loss at the hands of Rangely. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Panthers are ranked 43rd).

North Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Vail Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
