Crestview waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Central Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since February 12th.

Zander Keith looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Cantrell, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Crestview's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-13 when he doesn't).

Crestview pushed their record up to 10-13 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The Royals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
