Softball Recap: Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

Myrtle Beach lost against Carolina Forest last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Seahawks lost 13-1 to the Panthers. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Myrtle Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shianne Needle, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Carolina Forest, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8-1.

Looking ahead, Myrtle Beach will challenge Blacksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carolina Forest will be paying especially close attention to the Seahawks' match: after the Seahawks faces off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Carolina Forest again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
