Volleyball Recap: St. Augustine Comes Up Short

After flying high against Centennial on Friday, St. Augustine came back down to earth. St. Augustine fell just short of the Granite Hills Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

St. Augustine now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Granite Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Augustine will face off against Francis Parker at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be St. Augustine's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Granite Hills, they will square off against Santana at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
