Basketball Recap: Dell Rapids Finds Playoff Glory Versus Tri-Valley

It's playoff time, and Dell Rapids had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 58-30 victory over the Tri-Valley Mustangs. The Quarriers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Dell Rapids' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Kloth led the charge by dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Kloth is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Anderson, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Dell Rapids was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are 11-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

The win made it two in a row for Dell Rapids and bumps their season record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Dell Rapids and Baltic will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Baltic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season. Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
