North Judson-San Pierre and Argos are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays will venture away from home to challenge the Argos Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Judson-San Pierre will be strutting in after a win while Argos will be coming in after a defeat.

North Judson-San Pierre was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Culver Community on Tuesday. North Judson-San Pierre blew past Culver Community 49-20. The team ran away with 36 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Meanwhile, Argos lost 65-42 to South Central on Tuesday.

North Judson-San Pierre will have to contain Luke Stults as he made an impact in Argos' last game. He almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. The game was Stults' eighth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Austin, who posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals.

Argos has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. North Judson-San Pierre's win bumped their record up to 8-11.

North Judson-San Pierre didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Argos when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-42 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Argos' Sean Richard, who went 11-for-15 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for North Judson-San Pierre to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
