Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Monticello Magic. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Magic earlier this season, when they won 12-2.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Monticello, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Coming up, Princeton will be playing at home against Milaca at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monticello, they will challenge Becker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Bulldogs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
