NCSSM: Durham skates past Raleigh Charter with ease

The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Raleigh Charter 59-23 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-7.

NCSSM: Durham got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maren Donlon out in front who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Donlon is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played. Marilyn Martin was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine steals.

The win makes it two in a row for NCSSM: Durham and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Raleigh Charter, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Franklin Academy the next time they take the court. Raleigh Charter will host Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while NCSSM: Durham will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
