Volleyball Recap: Madison Highland Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Madison Highland Prep was the 3-0 winner over Highland Prep West when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Heat fell 3-1 to the HORNETS on Thursday. While the Heat didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the HORNETS 25-21 in the first set.

Madison Highland Prep came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Khloe Faapito paced Madison Highland Prep's offense, picking up nine kills. Faapito got some help from Minnie Clemens and her 15 assists. Faapito was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Madison Highland Prep dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Madison Highland Prep will square off against NFL Yet Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland Prep West will be paying especially close attention to the Heat's game: after the Heat face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Highland Prep West again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
