Basketball Recap: Dresden Comes Up Short

Dresden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-36 loss at the hands of the Lake County Falcons. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Dresden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lake County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dresden will face off against South Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake County, they will head out to challenge Gleason at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Gleason likes a good challenge.
