Basketball Recap: Kendall Find Success

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Kendall's strategy against Pembroke on Tuesday. The Kendall Eagles came out on top against the Pembroke Dragons by a score of 47-37. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Dragons back in December of 2024, they had to take a 37-35 defeat.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Coniber, who posted ten points along with eight boards and three blocks. Peyton Liss was another key player, putting up 14 points and five steals.

Kendall's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Pembroke, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Kendall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pembroke has already played their next matchup (against Byron-Bergen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
