Baseball Recap: Salisbury Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Salisbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Page Pirates 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Pirates back in March, they had to take a 13-1 defeat.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 9-17 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Page, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

As of now, neither Salisbury nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
