Baseball Recap: Bishop Machebeuf Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dayspring Christian Academy, Bishop Machebeuf was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Estes Park Bobcats 4-2. This was payback for the Buffaloes, who suffered a 12-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Miles Edgar was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Bishop Machebeuf's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't).

Bishop Machebeuf's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Estes Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
