Softball Recap: Walled Lake Central Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Escanaba Eskymos.

Walled Lake Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leyla Wilk, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Walled Lake Central now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Escanaba, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Walled Lake Central will host Grand Blanc at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games. As for Escanaba, they will welcome Milan at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Big Reds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eskymos surely won't give up without a fight.
