Softball Recap: Incline Beats Pershing County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Incline proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 17) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pershing County Mustangs, sneaking past 11-9. For the Highlanders, this counts as revenge for the 20-2 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The win (which was Incline's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Pershing County, their loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pershing County beat Incline by a score of 28-13 on Saturday.
