Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carroll). They claimed a resounding 80-53 win over the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jersey Paul, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 22 points and four steals. Paul has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Cala Haffner was another key player, going 7 of 11 on her way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Despite the loss, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Izzie Eke went 7 for 16 on her way to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That's the most points Eke has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaite Keefer, who posted two points along with six boards and four steals.

Carroll's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-43 defeat against Hamilton Southeastern on the 11th. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they will host Norwell at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
