Softball Recap: Allendale Falcons vs. Whitehall Vikings
Allendale won the last time they faced Whitehall and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons blew past the Vikings 15-5. Considering the Falcons have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Lexie Gunter was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those doubles were her first of the season. Tessa Gunter was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Allendale hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.
