It was a good run, but Breckinridge County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Meade County Green Waves by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Green Waves earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Breckinridge County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Draven Scott, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Breckinridge County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 23-10. As for Meade County, their record is now 20-11.

As of now, neither Breckinridge County nor the Green Waves have any future games scheduled.
