While Vista PEAK Prep's victory against Denver South wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bison had just enough and edged out the Ravens 3-2 on Friday. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Vista PEAK Prep who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-16, 21-25, 15-11.
Tristan Rowley paced Vista PEAK Prep's offense, picking up 26 kills. Rowley got some help from Ein Bamba and his 36 assists. Finally, Rowley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Vista PEAK Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Denver South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
