Basketball Recap: Cousino Victorious

If Sterling Heights wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cousino, they should've done a better job of containing Nicholas Farr. The Cousino Patriots strolled past the Sterling Heights Stallions with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 66-49 thanks in part to Farr, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 16 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Cousino now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sterling Heights, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Cousino didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-48 win against Richmond on the 14th. Sterling Heights has also already played their next match, a 90-66 loss against Center Line on the 17th.
