Incarnate Word lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Incarnate Word Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Shamrocks never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Bella Muniz made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Incarnate Word let Maddie De Leon and Zaryah Tavitas run wild.
