Volleyball Recap: Spaulding Takes a Loss

Spaulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dover Green Wave, falling 3-0. The Red Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Spaulding was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Dover's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Spaulding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Dover, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Spaulding is set to take on their familiar foe Hollis-Brookline at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dover will challenge rival Alvirne at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
