Preview: Calumet New Tech Warriors vs. Boone Grove Wolves
The Calumet New Tech Warriors will be playing at home against the Boone Grove Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Calumet New Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Kankakee Valley 83-77. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Calumet New Tech got a solid performance out of Eric Allen, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of John Hudson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Boone Grove lost to Hanover Central on the road by a decisive 64-46 margin on Saturday.
Calumet New Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Boone Grove, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
