Basketball Game Preview: Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers vs. Laconia Sachems

The Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers will face off against the Laconia Sachems at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Hollis-Brookline blew Kingswood out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Kingswood got their revenge. Hollis-Brookline fell just short of Kingswood by a score of 41-39.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Laconia, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 58-26 victory over Hanover. The Sachems have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Laconia pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points over those games. As for Hollis-Brookline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
