Soccer Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Richland Bears.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Richland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Parkview wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Laquey on the 9th. As for Richland, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. James at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
