Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Episcopal Titans vs. Collegiate Cougars

Trinity Episcopal is 1-9 against Collegiate since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trinity Episcopal Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Collegiate Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Collegiate took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity Episcopal, who comes in off a win.

Trinity Episcopal is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Christchurch School, posting an 82-26 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Collegiate came up short against St. Margaret's on Monday and fell 55-43.

Trinity Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Collegiate, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Trinity Episcopal strolled past Collegiate in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 55-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity Episcopal since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
