Baseball Recap: Olive Branch Comes Up Short

Olive Branch lost against Saltillo last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Olive Branch came up short against Saltillo, falling 14-2. The Conquistadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olive Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Saltillo, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will challenge Memphis Home Education Association at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Saltillo, they will welcome Starkville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Saltillo's pitchers better be ready for this one: Starkville has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
