Volleyball Recap: Garland Victorious

Garland posted their closest win since November 1, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Little Elm Lobos, sneaking past 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (55-51) Garland actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 11-25, 15-10.

Garland's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Little Elm, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Garland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Princeton on the 22nd. As for Little Elm, they will challenge Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
