Baseball Recap: Mashpee Comes Up Short

If Mashpee was feeling good fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Upper Cape Cod RVT last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins on Monday, falling 10-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Andrew Fancher made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Mashpee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
