Soccer Game Preview: Bruton vs. Poquoson

The Bruton Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Poquoson Bull Islanders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bruton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Bruton was able to grind out a solid victory over Nandua, taking the game 3-1. Bruton's winning goal came courtesy of Juan Martin.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Poquoson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They beat Prince Edward County by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Poquoson were the better team in the second half.

Poquoson's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Bruton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7-2.
