After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Dale, Dinwiddie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Petersburg Crimson Wave as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crimson Wave, too.

Dinwiddie pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Petersburg, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Dinwiddie and Petersburg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Generals (ranked 217th) will meet Prince George (ranked 95th) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Petersburg will face off against Thomas Dale at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (396 vs. 150).
