Recap: Florence Falcons vs. Deshler Tigers
The Florence Falcons lost to the Deshler Tigers back in December of 2022, but the Florence Falcons didn't allow the Deshler Tigers the same satisfaction on Friday. Florence came out on top against Deshler by a score of 57-49.
Julian King was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 14 points along with 5 steals and 3 blocks. Pj Key was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Florence now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Deshler, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florence will take on Mae Jemison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Mae Jemison is ranked 87th, while Florence is ranked 81st). As for Deshler, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Marion County at 7:30 p.m.
