Softball Recap: Havelock Rams vs. J.H. Rose Rampants
Havelock stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 16-4 margin over the J.H. Rose Rampants. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Havelock considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Elana Krupey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Krupey has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Krupey was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
